I decided to break these T2 projects to separate threads. This one is Porsche Tiger II which was backdated from Revell model. Revell model depicts perhaps June version and this one is suppose to be Feb-March version. Hopefully it most of the parts is that
As from original posting can be read these projects are being under work for quite a long time now. I'm finally getting nearer to finish line on each of these projects.
This is backplate with Part PE and sb parts. Exhaust shrouds are made of lead foil.

Rear plate or engine deck with added sb screens made of metallic coffee filter, Eduard PE and plastic strips. Revell model didn't have correct unarmoured air vent so one was sb from plasticard. Engine deck has lifting lugs in every corner and those were drilled open carefully with small 0,3 mm drill bit.

Turret didn't have correct loader hatch for Porsche version as for some reason Revell did include late hatch for this also Anyway, Part set to the rescue and with a little modification early hatch was constructed. I must add opening guide? and closing handle for it, too. Ventilation hatch was cut away and Part PE hatch was added with small plastic parts glued between. Looks a whole lot better now.

More of this model later.

Cheers,
Niko

And as I checked my projects I decided to continue this one, too. Some PE to be added: fenders by Part.

I also finally got myself to add missing details to loader's hatch:

Next in the are finalizing turret and tools. After that painting

After I had glued back plate to lower hull, I noticed this:

Upper hull is warped a bit so it takes some work to get it right
