Panzerjäger I 4.7cm PaK(t)

Hi all,

because I dont have access to my airbrush I can't provide you with an update on my KV 1.
Instead I want to share some pictures of my current build, it's Dragons Panzerjäger I.

I always loved this little jagdpanzer, and after it was released I could not resist to get my hands on this little baby...

Fantastic kit so far, here the first pictures,
the nice boxart from James Tainton:

Worked on the wheels:

Interior assembled, some filler needed on the ammo boxes /everthing dry fitted:

One thing I dont like about this kit is that the complete visors are made of transparent material, it's really hard to see seams and other issues...

Hope you like it,

Cheers
Manuel

Hello Manuel,
This kit is on my wish-list (I'm nostalgic: I built Zvezda's PzJ I when re-started modelling two years ago...) so I am curious about your experience with it. So far it seems nice!
cheers,
Zsolt

Oh good, I missed the initial new post alert on this but glad to see someone tackling this- I was thinking of doing one along side my Bison I- to see what parts are common etc. Aren't those road wheels fun to put together! Looks pretty clean what type of glue did you use?

Looks like a nice kit.

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

Thanks for your interst guys
Coops, thanks for the picture. I'm still undecided if I go for an afrika, or a frosty whitewashed version. Both should look cool....

Although the kit is very nice, the interior lacks of all the bolts on the inner walls. I added the fender and the return roller support and some bolts on the upper structure.

Stay tuned,
Cheers Manuel

Nice job on the added bolts on the interior- I'll be doing something similar to my Bison I. One thing you may also want to add is a piece of plastic to simulate the inside edge of the fenders. You can see this in this scan from the Nuts & Bolts book on this vehicle.

Yep, already planned to add this. My main reference are also the old nuts and bolts, and the Wydawnictwo Militartia 144, both books show the Koblenz vehicle. Thanks for your help James!

This is gonna be interesting to follow. Nice detailling on the interior!

I have the old Italeri kit with Aber's PE upgrades, Friul tracks etc. So I 'll save this thread on my HD for sure.
