Jagdpanzer 38(t) "Hetzer" early - DML 1/35

Hey Guys,
this is my latest build,
DML´s early Hetzer.
As I seem to be not able to press in the rips in PE-fenders without messing them up, I ordered some parts from Tamiya (which will be easily recognized on the pics I guess ).
Apart from those I used:
Some parts from the ABER-Set (I discovered that in my stash when I was halfway through the build scratch ),
Armorscale barrel and mantlet (I had to do some work on the kit to fit it as you might see on the Glacis),
some Nuts and bolts from MR,
Bronco wing nuts (which are beatiful),
Archer weld beads,
Friul tracks
and finally a MG34 from a DML Gen2-Set, from which I removed the butt stock,
Modellbauwelt Bliestal Antenna,
DML Decals from one of their Halftrack kits.
The figure comes from Tristar, with Hornet head and hands.
The progres of painting and weathering can be seen here:

I have to say a big thank you to all the guys who helped me with tipps and tricks!
A special Thank you has to go to Lars Richter who had no problem with me copying the paint scheme of his Hetzer and to Rick Lawler who was amazingly helpful with his neverending support during the whole progress!
Thanks friends!

Enough spoken I guess, you guys want PICS !

Sorry for not making the SBS on here as well, but this was thougt as a surprise build .

Comments and critics more than welcome!!

That is one great Hetzer Markus! The weathering is on spot and the figure looks flawless!

My gog this is amazing weathering,i like the figure, really realistic

And one more thing, you can call me a nasty bellyake or something but i think that the antenna is a little too thick. It looks like a stick, not a antena

This is one of those models where I can't point exactly what makes it such a masterpiece.
It's the painting, the weathering the colors... well it seems to be everything.

It's really good. Beautiful I guess defines it perfectly.

Hey friends,
thanks a lot for all kind words, I appreciate them a lot!

Ivan, Johannes, Dagger, Petarted, Antonio,
thanks a lot!

Michael Wittmann,
the antennas were manufactured from the original plans, so they are pretty spot on when it comes to the measurements, german antennas have been pretty thick .

Rick,
exactly this is what happend .
It looks pretty funny sitting there, as this is the first kit I finished for pics, not for seeing live.

Stuke,
Dude, I can´t say how much I miss your modells mate!
Please do us all a favor and start building again!!!
