StuG. III Ausf. G "Frühe Produktion" 1/72 by Dragon

Hi Friends,

I just start to build an Stug III Ausf. G 1/72 scale, by Dragon:

The model looks great in the box, the moulded is very clean and crisp, really in a first look I think I will enjoy a lot...

Regards.

Start the build

Hi my friends,

I was started the StuG build.

The kit is very nice, it's easy and very pleasant to build, I start by the wheels.

The hull is very well detailed.

1/72????

The small and thin PE looks really great.

The upper hull is very clean moulded also, only need to change the handles.

About the painting I'm thinking to make and captured StuG:

With the splendid Mig Crew:

What's your opinion?

Best Regards

Hi Joaquin
The kit is really adorable to built. Definetly the best kit on the market. There is just one fault:
The driver visor is molded close! This makes no sense for 3G, because they had no add. driver periskope any longer. It would be more correct to show them open.
Regards Robert

Holla Joaquin
Have you switched to 1/72 scale? There was that small BT of yours and now this little Stug.

StuG. III Ausf. G., 1/72, "Under Russian Management"

Hi All,

This evening I nearly finished the Stug III "Under Russian Management", first I think to paint it in winter scheme, but it is not logical mix the white camouflage with summer uniforms, unluckily I haven't winter russians to 1/72 scale, but no problem, I can to paint it in "summer scheme", this is not a real subject, but I saw a lot of pictures with another one captured german tank in russian use, and I think this is possible and it fits perfect for my idea:

Only rest put it the tracks and the last touches to situate it in the Dio.

I hope you like it.

Best Regards All.
