Looks great Markus!!

I really like the subtle weathering that you have achieved on the vehicle. The figure looks great as well.

Congrats on a model well done!

Markus,

Your work is outstanding. I have two questions. 1) Where did you get the wine bottle? 2) How did you make the tracks sag? Hope to see more of your work.

Hey Guys,
thanks a lot for the kind words!

Mike,
the bottle is from Tamiya.
I just painted it clear green, drilled a hole in the bottom and filled it partially with clear red.
The decal on it comes from DML and was part of their Kübelwagen with Infanteriekarren.

I made the tracks sag with some superglue.
For this I applied some glue on the wheels and pressed the tracks down overnight.
Until now it stays, hope it will in the future too .

All the best!
Markus

Heya, Markus,

Nice job --- you really did an amazing job on a very old kit... You definitely did it justice --- for a second I thought that someone had released a new M-3 kit!!

Agreed, your weathering is just right!!

GREAT WORK!

Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B

Some very very fine work here! The lay of the various straps around the vehicle is very natural/authentic. The level of detail/accessories makes this a fun model to look at. Overall the paint/weathering is consistent and believable. Good stuff! Fig looks good also. Are you going to put this in a dio scene???

Hi Markus
You did excellent detailing on your M3A1. I noticed that the diagonal braces are missing on your rear racks or the M3A1 did not have them.
Cheers
Ralph

Hey Guys,
thanks again for all the kind words, i really appreciate it !

Steve,
I was planníng of putting the halftrack in a bigger dio-scene when i started it, but now that I´m finished with it, i don´t wanna hide it in a scene.
I´m still not sure what to do with it, so currently it´s sitting on a black base and waits for a desicion .
The fig on the pic is only there for photo purposes.

Ralph,
you are right, i was leaving the braces aside on these pics as i was to scared to break them off (the 1000th time) during the photo session. I glued them back on after taking the pics and putting the M3 on the base plate .

Thanks again everyone!
