Panzer IV J early with Ostketten

HI Guys!

I decided to post all pictures from my progress. I have started this Kitty a few months ago so I'm now not at the begining.
This is the Tamiya Panzer IV J kit with 5 sets of ABER PE, Armorscale gun barrel and mantlet, CMK interrior, Tristar suspension, friul metal tracks, moskit muffler, and home made zimmerit.
Now I'm at the weathering stage but still lots of work with it. I'm planingto put it onto a small vignette.

the second part

I have primed it, and painted the base colours. The dark primer helps to create some shadows. (it is a new technic for me but it seems to work.

I have repainted my panzer IV because the base color was too green for a drak yellow...
Since that I have started the weathering with some washes and chipping. Note that lot of areas not ready yet for exaple I dont even started to chip the turret.
I did some "predirting" using putty and sand. very light, because this vehicle wont be very mudy.

Need opinions about what you see and suggestions about anything you like to see

cheers,

WoW

One tip though, you might want to seriously tone down the red chips. But it looks super!

Wow! Totally awesome!

I really like your pz IVs interior too.

Can I ask, what did you use as the primer?

Aaron,

Awesome paint job on the camo, I agree the dunklegleb does look better. Also I agree with Sheeds, the floor plate is absolutely some of the best paint I have seen.

Absolutely great work!
I love the personal stuff and the pillow on the comandersseat in the interiour. The tracks make this a very strong looking mean machine!

aron

wow! awesome panzer 4 ... i like the bottle of wine (or schnaps) the most besides that phantastic muffler!

you may want to put some stuff in the turret bin ... this would be a perfect addition of detail (if you hadn't planned it anyway)

cheers,

laura
