Hi Guys !

Some photos taken in 1978 at the "Musée des Blindés", Saumur (France).

It was the first year of the museum !
And my first visit.
My second one will take place soon (28 years later ), during the International Meeting of AFV's Modeling, on 3 & 4 of June !

Sorry for the quality of photos, not very good...

Excellent shot Bruno, thank you.

Now I know what my next project is......that rusting 653? Jag Panther rotting away is the answer.

Cheers, Willy.

Thanks for posting these, kinda like that they are more of a general overall type shot , not the detailed, close up type. Kinda nice little time capsules.

You know that free ball socket mortar has been re-united with the Brummbar that it came from in Munster?

Here is a pic, you can see the scar or the welding done in the retrofit.

Hi Bruno,

Great photographs, thanks for posting them. I also like that the pictures give a general view.

But i do have a question about the panther with the free french insigna. Is it used by the free french or was this painted on after the war?

greets,

Richard

Thanks for posting.

The Panzer IV with "mixed" turret side doors is interesting.
