Very nice. Your Zimm is ace!
Your tool box will come up great on the side of the tank.

Nice job on the zimmerit and the photoetch. What did you use for zimmerit? Whatever I have either dries out fast or readily flakes off.

A little update of the progress. Barrel holder "tripod" was a pain to do as after heating up it falls a part. Getting close to finishing it off if I won't decide to sctartch build something else on it.

mbabsit- used a milliput, the cheapest one, i think it's the yellow one. Hope that will help you.

brokeneagle-I'm doing Elefant so the tool box will be in the rear.

Does any one know where I can get Muzzle brake with the cover on it. Didn't Tiger model done it ?

Ruslan,
Nice job on the gun crutch! I know what you mean about everything falling apart , it's very tricky doing multiple joints on something like this.

Need your help with the towing cables. Does this cable looks right?

Also, should the surface of the hooks be flat?

Had to use Aber "hooks" for the towing cable as they are the right one.

Hi Ruslan

Cables look nice. What you need know is the rubberised covering over the tow cable head.

I got this set a couple of years ago in Osaka, Japan. I am not sure if it is still available but you can check with Rainbow Ten.

Alternatively you can try using those heat shrink rubber RC guys use. You have to get the correct diameter and a hair dryer would do the work.

Lawrence, it was rubber? In Aber instructions it says to use a wire. THat's wh yI don't like Aber so much is they got mistakes.
Is it one piece rubber or they wrap around it?
Will try to make my own.
