John, I agree with you !
But I thought :
-1) according to some photos, that the position of the final drive housing was OK on the kit.
We may see, indeed, that the housing is tangential to the bottom of the lower hull, on the photo and on the kit too.
-2) that to change the Dragon return rollers by those of the Tristar set, smaller in diameter, would be enough.
It was a few better, but not sufficient at all !...
On the new Vorpanzer, Dragon made several changes :
- wheel drive larger in diameter (and with the bolts position corrected) ;
- return rollers smaller in diameter (equal at those of the Tristar set) ;
- position of the wheel drive higher on the hull. It's not tangential any more with the bottom of the hull...
I believe that it was not the right way (probably rather problems of dimensions / stackings of dimensions), but the result is now OK...
I planned to try to correct all that, and the design of the glacis plate too (part B31 : wrong hatch positions).
In fact, I decided to "super-detail" and correct the best I can the 3in1...
...and to build the Vorpanzer strictly OOTB. To rest me !
PS : Thanks Dan ! Don't worry for your french : I'm afraid that many things remain totally incomprehensible ! (Private jokes, etc...) Even sometimes between us !!!
