Tristar PzKpfw.38(t) Ausf.G

This is the kit I will be building:

I will be building it as the regular G in order to have some more freedom with the markings later on...and probably because I like the MG in the front.

So today I got so far with the kit:

Beautiful...

The suspension is a dream to build. Everything fits very well. (a nice change from the zvezda kit LOL)
Managed to keep it workable.

I will not take many SBS shots with this build because more experienced modellers have done very good SBS builds of the Pz 38 here before, so I will be learning form them.

Thanks for looking

Siim

Great start! I'm building this kit too at the moment so it should be interesting to see what you do with it.

Hi Siim,

Great looking start there. Nice suspension. I don't think anyone else has shown that.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I could build the Marder III H from one of these.

I'm thinking of doing the Hetzer. I know Eduard has one but I like the challenge...

DML has a couple also! But, yeah a challenge is nice, like I've got the old Italeri hetzer.

Fletcher, you will not be able to use the Tristar roadwheels as the Hetzer roadwheels are slightly larger.

Larry and Marco
I wouldn't rule out SPGs based on the 38(t) chassis from Tristar. If you look inside the chassis, you will notice that there are locating holes.
