1/48 Königstiger (King Tiger) Porsche Turret in a german checkpoint diorama

Hi,

This is a diorama of a german checkpoint (maybe Siegfried line) in 48th scale.

The story is of a King Tiger crew receiving instructions with an officer while some soldiers are walking by on their way to the front, not exactly accurate but I kind like the contrast between infantry men and panzer crews and the scene setting.

All the models are Tamiya except the dragon theet which are RMG resin accessories.

I'm still finishing the painting of the last 5 figures 4 soldiers and a military police directing traffic and movement on the checkpoint.

Best regards,

Carlos Mendes

At long last...

I've finally finished the diorama...

This was a hard one, somewhere in the middle of the time I took to finish it I kinda lost my gas and it ended up taking more than a year to finish the damn thing.

Well let's hear it from you guys.

I'm already thinking about a new diorama that restores my sanity.

Exclamation

That's really cool and I admire those that do dioramas too. I mean it's like 3 times the effort! So much going on here and the tank alone is well done.

Thanks for sharing your work. Maybe someday I'll get up the courage to make one of my own!
