Ironside Lorraine 37L

Ola Guys

Another project I'm currently working on is the Lorraine 37L Which I thought to be a quite nifty looking vehicle. And I knew a good walkaround of it. When examining the kit and compared it to the walkaround I found out that Ironside was lacking a lot of detail in the drivers cabine and that they were plain wrong in other areas... So what should have been a nice easy OOTB kit turned out in a Scratchbuilt project. So far this is the result of 2 days
The pics are a bit crappy this time

A picture to get an idea of the scale of the vehicle and the scale of the additions and extra details.

And how the vehicle looked like in the war years.

All is done with Sprue, Evergreen, Aluminum oven tray and copperwire.

Looking forward to your opinions

With friendly greetz

Robert,

It looks good so far! Here is a link to Steve Zaloga's work on the same kit (he is always inspiring):

Ola Saul

Thanks for the compliment. Indeed it is some nice work that mister Zaloga did on this vehicle. Quite interesting that he used the 37L to make the 38L instead of going the easy route with the RPM 38L. Although I have seen the RPM version and there is possibly even more work to it.
Thanks for the link

Very good work so far. On such a tiny, tiny thing... Not much bigger than a Kettenkrad, innit? :-D

Ola Guys

Thanks for the replies

@ Atckyrre
It is a little bit bigger then a Kettenkrad... but really not much. Still it is really fun to work this little guy.
