Pz. Kpfw. III Ausf J - Dragon

Here's my latest build (while waiting some things to arrive).
Very nice kit, very precise and with excellent surface detail.
I'm using an Aber barrel and the Aber set for this kit. But... the extra armor for the mantlet wouldn't fit (a premiere with Aber. Never had this problem with them) and I had to grind the PE a little bit with a Dremel to put it into position and also the sides of the plastic mantlet.

This is the only pic I took and a lot of parts are just not glued or missing.

Looks like a nice kit to build up- I've got one in the stash. Too bad not more in progress shots.

I also have this kit in my stash so look forward to seeing this one in more detail and with some paint. How comprehensive is the Aber set?

I'm loving the precision of this one. It's not over engineered like so many Dragon Kits and the fit is superb. I didn't use a single piece of filler.
The parts are mostly "hanging" in there. A lot of what you see in the pic is not glued.
I'll take a detailed set of pictures to illustrate the build and of course I'll put them here.

Well, I got mine from Blast Models and they seem to have them in stock
Their service is top notch if you don't mind ordering abroad.
