Rick, that is because you spend all the time bringing light and hope into the dark world of the airplane modelers there.

Hi

It's one kit I've wanted to make ever since getting back interested in modelling again this year. Chased a few on ebay but they've ended up silly money.

Considering you'll have to, well I certainly want to, do all the things you are doing to make it a decent model it can also work out a very expensive one.

What are the main gripes with the Italeri original? What do you actually get in the Verlinden Update set that you change from the kit original?

In my circumstance, without the kit to start off with would it not be better to say buy one of the Dragon Panthers, as the base kit, along with the Update kit from Verlinden (would it fit) and the other items.

I've always admired these builds of it myself...

Good luck with it.

Plushy has been working on a DML/ verlinden/ italeri mix in this thread: http://www.planetarmor.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3433
You get about all interior fittings with the verlinden update, needless to say, it is a lot better then the stuff italeri puts in there
I hope you find one, good hunting!
Jan
