Bergepanther steering (and booktips wanted)

In the Italerimodel, and the verlinden update(?), there is a steeringwheel like in the tiger ...

.... is this correct? The normal panther is steered with sticks, but i can't find a pic of the driversposition of the bergepanther anywhere...
Speaking of pics... any book recommendations on bergepanthers?
TIA, Jan
ps the pic is borrowed from: http://www.geocities.jp/srf66133/afv/SdKfz179.html

Jan ,
the italeri steering is incorrect it should have the same stering setup as a normal panther . The Trojca books have lots of scale drawings of the Bergepanthers D, A, G . They also have some photos as well , Tanks in Detail 3 by Johnathan Forty also has some photos .

Cheers Plushy

Do you know Rob Plas? I had a bunch of questions on the Bergepanther a few years back and he was really helpful.

As you probably know Rob has some photos of the Saumur Bergepanther on Twenot website. You can also check out Vince Abbott's walkaround on Saumur's Bergepanther

Unfortunately, there are no photos of the driver's forward station.
