Panther Ausf G (Dragon 1/35)

Hi folks,

as I bought the "1945" set by AK a couple of days ago, I decided to re-paint a Panther I made 2 years ago when I started airbrushing (only had an air can, it was "Panther airbrush massacre", terrible). This time, I tried a simple 2-tone color modulation with the Dunkelgelb colors, and today, after detailling it with brushes and Model Color paints, I'm gonna try to paint the camo on the box, someone from a French forum told me he would send me the pics of the other faces.

Hope you'll like it !

Okay, here's the beginning of the camouflage, with the "Rotbraun" tone :

Next step tomorrow with the "Resedagrün" if I have time enough !

Hi everybody !

I did the green color today, kinda satisfied with the result ! Don't if I will do a modulation (shadows) on the two-tone camo because the one I did on the base is still visible underneath it... And I don't wanna ruin my work ! Besides, I think it's more suitable on a single color like the "Dunkelgelb" or the Panzer grey.

Hope you like it, comments are more than welcome !

Hi folks,

Last work : "mapping" with Model Color paints (ivory and flat brow,), oil filter and oil fading. Kinda satisfied with the result, the camo looks darker :

I also tried the AK product "Fuel stains", pretty cool and useful !

Try using your car's spare tired! Those were the days!

I like the paint scheme very much, good job. I think you went a little too far on the chipping and scratches as in reality is hard for vehicles to end up so chipped, but over all is looks very good.

Good evening everybody,

well, it's finished ! I painted some details and also made some scratches on the number 113 which looked too "clean" compared to the rest as someone usefully told me. I also added some mud on the tracks and wheels, using plaster and AK Interactive "Earth effects".

The exhaust pipes received a base coat of MC "Flat Brown", then Mig pigments "Vietnam Earth" and "Lights Rust" fixed with white spirit.

Once again, thanks for following this topic and for your kind comments !

Oh, sadly, the mud doesn't look as good as i'd like it to do... I tried the technique of the airbrush and brush filled with the mixture but.. no, gotta try to make it better.
