Very Good work for one day!

I wish I could build that fast. My only concern is the mold line running along the exhaust pipe.

You can still fix it!

The base coat looks good, what scheme are you going for? 3 tone camo?

Hey thanks dave!!!
You think I can fix it??? Hmmmm... So scared to ruin it... I'll try anyway!

Yes I plan to do a tritonal camo but I'd like to know what you think of this

On the front plate, should I make the stripe vertical or let them this way?

Thanks for following this thread, bud!

Ok, here are some news!

Ok this is the way I did it!

I replaced the tape in a different manner.

Sprayed some green on after worn effects. And made scratches.

Airbrushed some varnish (Klir) and Worn Effects and Red.

Removed the tape and finished the scratches and coated it again!

Some spots of paint have gone through the tape, but I will fix this with a brush!

Do you like it? I feel content with this, I must say, but I need some expert eyes and critics!

Hey Alex!

I do like the camo scheme... adds interest to the build. And yes anything can be fixed... I think it would be worth your while to do it.

How did you do the scratches?

Hi Dave and thanks for your comment!

The scratches were done with Worn Effects from AK-Interactive. Very good product! Better than hairspray!

I'll have a look at this exhaust pipe!

I have a question. I'd like to use different colors for the turret and the canon and thought about factory red for the turret and panzer grey for the canon. Do you think it could be good?

Scratches look good. I think they are a little too exaggerated, but you can get away with it on a late war vehicle.
I think the different colors is a great idea. Remember that towards the end of the war logistics were practically nonexistent and vehicles were put together with whatever parts they had at hand or could salvage.
Besides I think different colors would be a great opportunity to explore different finishes on the same model and it will add interest to it. So, go for it!

And for it I went, Dave ! Thanks for your comments about the scratches... Maybe overdone... I'll fix it asap!

Ok, here's the "hull red" I mixed from red, yellow, hull red, buff and white (the 2 last for modulation)

I'm quite happy with the result!
