Maybe those mounts are for some kind of "Schurzen"?

This is the Jacques Littlefield Panther - and they apparently removed those fittings from the hull during the restoration

I dont know if they will refit them once the work is complete

Hi guys.
This is the one now owned by (I think) Jacques Littlefield.
If not Littlefield then it's the other famous collector whose name I just can't rememner at the moment ...
This Panther (along with some Tigers) had apparently som weid way of fixing the Schürzen. This is what you see here.
I have a pic somewhere in my computer but not sure I'll be able to find it ... my computer is not very tidy.
Please be patient ... LOL.

Edited to add : Yes it is Littlefield's. Here's a pic of a Tiger with the same "device". One thinks it is for Schürzen but no one's really sure about that. There is a movie that shows this Panther being recovered if someone's interested I may try to share it via facebook or you tube ...

Nobody has proof of what it was? How do you think? Could it have to be like?
