Trumpeter Sturer Emil WIP

Hello Again
As I mentioned in my Dicker Max WIP i've also been working on the Emil.
It's also a Self Propelled Gun and a very nice kit as far as Trumpeter goes.
I'm also adding AM bits such as Armor Scale barrel,Voyager PE set and Friulmodel tracks.

The usual thing to do it start with the lower hull and suspension,each wheel has two halves btw.


With the wheels all done I built the Friuls:


I love those tracks.

Next came the gun and some brass work:



Time to see how the shiny stuff fits:





Lets move inside and add some furniture:



From here I started to build the Max to get a change of scenery so that's it for now folks.

Thanks folks and i'm glad you can make use of the photos when you do build your kits.
Yeah Gordy she's puttin on some weight.
Today was spent on both ends. The front got the spare track links and the tow eyes.


And on the rear,the muffler and jack. And the smoke candles that only the #1 Emil had installed. The jack and muffler are just a dry fit.


There's a set of steps that go on under the door but I don't need to break them off just yet.

Snow has stopped but looking for 6 below zero tonight.

Tony, looking at your posts I feel two strong feelings: admiration (clean, beautiful work especially with the brass stuff!) and envy (you've got time for modeling)
