Where did all the tread-heads go?

I go away for a little bit because of insane project at work, and I come back and there's almost no activity. What happened?

some guys are out of shape, some others are out of room, some are just busy...
They'll be back, as our friend Arnold would say

armor fiend,

I can tell you that I am very happy with your presence and contributions here on on plenetarmor. I also appreciate your concern of "there's almost no activity".
If you have any ideas, please pass them on. And if you have any model builds, by all means, please continue to share your work here.

I have a open mind and heart willing to keep my eyes and ears open for any suggestions to continue attracting those in the model building community & all others interested in 'what we do'...build models!

I recently had a conversation with G-man (Gordy) relating to this subject.
We both came up with the same wise old saying;
..."be careful for what you wish for".....

thank you,
AWD

Hi guys,

FWIW I visit the site a couple of times a day. Unfortunately, though, due to work and family commitments modelling has become a spectator sport for me.

I really do enjoy visiting here though, and this site has fast become one of my favourites

Ideas? Hmmmm.
  • More group builds?
  • How about classes, where someone teaches us a technique?
  • Videos?
  • Tagging, so similar projects can be easily found, if say, someone wants to look at all the Tiger I E projects or something.
  • Review threads, so people can come in and make their own comments about a particular kit, book, etc.

Just thoughts.

Fiend, I had the same impression when I wasn't visiting for quite awhile (about a year). Came back about 4 months ago and really noticed that alot of the "Regulars" were not really here anymore. Alot of new names and in my opinion less postings especially when it comes the the v-benches. Still my favorite site though when it comes to looking at build blogs. Alot of good info here too, just have to search for it. Maybe need to start some of those vehicle specific threads again such as the one on the Panther and Panzer IV. Good to see you back.

good discussion here

This is some excellent discussion here.

Tell it like it is or 'like it was'.
Put it out, spell it out.
let's hear some more.

Then We, yes We can re-build!

thanks, and want to hear more on this subject.
