I gave up on my 45w Iron some time ago. Been using a Microtorch nearly exclusively.

Hi Johannes,

nothing special actually, I have only one soldering iron. It is a "Lötmeister" 15W / 230V. Works fine for everything I have done until now. Just that the tip is probably used up soon...

Hi Solo,

I didn't mean to seduce you, sorry

Wow that's a lot of metal I think you will have fun putting it together. Just take your time because you will need a lot of patience when soldering....

Hi Watanabe-san,

well I was a bit disappointed with the voyager parts, because the doors were too small. But it is still better than to have to make the back wall and the hood myself.

I have had a look at your 250/5 a couple of times and really admire your work. I will try to make the hinges workable but I think I'll pass on the door knob

How many hours so far, Ambjörn?
Once again: stunning work!!!
I knew some of the soldiers from SS-PzAA11, but when it came to information about the vehicles, they were worthless!

Hejsan Bosse,

well I haven't really counted them. But it must be a lot.

I put this build in a vacuum box for a while and completed my Tiger. Just now I am preparing to paint my Hummel.

I think I will come back to this build again during winter time. Got halted a bit trying to find suitable grw 34 ammo boxes.

Information about the vehicles is really hard to get, but when even the veterans don't know it anymore it's clear why...

Greetings
Ambjörn

Ambjörn,

where are the pics?! I've been following your blog with great interest and now I have to hear you completed it without providing new images for us! Shame on you!

Seriously, is your Tiger finished? I'd really like to see pictures then.

Grüße,
Johannes

Hello Johannes,

well, it should have been "completed except painting"...

It's still waiting for the paint I am doing the hummel first, just as in "first come first serve"
