Hi all!
As a start of my Vbench I would like to show where I have my hideout in our house. I have taken several photos of what I have here:

This is the table where I build and work.

Same table from another angle

MY place for models and under construktion projects

Model closet in detail

Modelcloset in detail part 2

Dragon figures collection

Some modelhouses under construktion

My homemade spraybooth

My bookshelf

Some of my stash

More af my stash

Yet more af my stash

Another stash photo

More of my stash

More stash
This room is'nt big in fact is is the smallest room in the house only 2,8x2,9 meters
so it is very cosy.
I will returm with some in progres photos soon

Very nice!
That's more of a showroom and hobby shop all rolled into one! Looks a little small, but that's ok...what's important is that you have the space and everything is within your grasp!
You know, the one thing that's still so amazing to me is that as big as this world is, it's so very small when the internet is thrown into the picture. I always try to see what kits someone else has and it's cool for me to see that "hey, Dan has that 251 too" Or "Oh, I can't believe Sam has that kit too!" (why didn't he trade it away?! lol) It's like man, Dan is in Denmark, I'm in the southwestern US, Sam is in Austrailia and James is in Canada...it's so cool, but trippy all at once.

Hi again
Thanks to both of you!
Amba The avard was von at the IPMS Danish Championships in 2003 I was placed 3, and got this avard from a small danish importer called SMT-Hobby
Every time we have these biannual championships he has a special price for The best diorama (or a diorama witch tells a history best) You can see the diorama at the lower corner of the fourth picture.
Yes R.C. when You go online like here you participate in a "Virtuel village" and suddendly distance or time do'nt matter any more. Right now my wife and child sleeps and Im up all alone. But again time do'nt matter I have a week off work, it is season for winterholliday here in denmark, but the snow has melted outside, and I have spare time for modelling

Dan,
I really like your "getaway" room. Very neat! Nice shelving, did you do the shelving yourself? Oh, and I really like your spray booth.

Welcome to the Planet, the Virtual Hobby Room.

Thanks Larry
Yes my room is small, if I fart in here I would be the first to know what I ate for dinner last evening
The spray booth an the compressor part is homemade. The compressor is made of a refridigator compressor a pressure tank from a lorry, a bought pressostate valve, some velding hoses and a regulator valve form a IBM laserprinter 3800, real homework.... It was very cheap far below what a compressor costs in trade.

Really nice workshop Dan!

I like the way you have it all laid out. I agree with RC_Hill, its kind of fun to look at other modeler's working area. Its like a way of getting to know who the person behind the model is. Maybe it would be cool to make a thread were we all post pics of our work areas.

It's so funny, about twice a year this subject come s up, and there is a flurry of postings of everyones bench spaces. I love it. I remembe r Dans space, it is very nice. My space is still in flux from the last 2 moves in two years. It should be something like , at the begging of each year, everyone gets to show their hobby space. Then dive into modelling.
