Diorama - Red devils D-Day

Hi guys,

Thanks again for your kind words on my Tiger II.

Here are some pics of a recent vignette I've completed. The marder 1 is the dog kit from Ironside. A really, really, really bad kit. I did my best to detail it but prefer to put it in a garage's ruin to partially hide it.

The 4 Red devils are Resicast and were sculpted by my friend Gerard DeTroeye. Very nice figures. Too sad he doesn't produce new ones anymore.

As usual, all comments are welcome.
Happy new year,
Pat

Hello Pat.
Just like the Tiger, this Marder looks great. I really like your figures. You sure did a wonderful job on them. The look very dynamic! You said they are not produced anymore? That’s a shame.
I do think the rubble on the ground could use a little work, and the bricks on top of the Marder are all whole. Alternating small bits of brick with whole ones would look a lot more realistic.

Dave

Thanks guys. I rarely make dios. I have a lot of respect for great dio maker.

Dave: the figures are still produced by Resicast. However, my friend won't sculpt new ones for him. It's sad because they're really great with a lot of action. Thanks for the tips about bricks' bits. I'll add some.

Pat

Hi Pat!

Thats a really nice diorama youve got there. I like it a lot. Although I think the figures are the best.

Cheers
