Soviet M17 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage

Here's a massive conversion I'm completing based on the DML M16 MGMC. I had to alter the donor kit to an International Harvester M17 which had many differences.

The main differences between the White, Autocar and Diamond T half-tracks to the IHC ones are as follows:

1) IHC rounded rear corners
2) IHC Flat pressed fenders
3) IHC had jerry can mounts higher
4) IHC doors had lower corner clipped versus the squared one of the others
5) IHC armored windscreen and upper door armor with shutters on the inner face
6) IHC has different dashboard
7) IHC has deeper battery box
8) IHC body has mostly welded seams vs. the many bolted ones of the others
9) IHC has larger front tires
10) IHC has "banjo" type front differential
11) IHC windscreen side posts are wider than others
12) IHC has different antenna mount
13) IHC hood mounted bullet deflector is further back
14) IHC head lights completely different
15) IHC has bumperettes

M17 differences:
16) Floor locker configuration different for M14/M17 than for M13/M16
17) Folding armor had different locking mechanisms
18) Rear bulkhead had different configuration of stowage boxes and pail

Well done, looks great. If I was going to critique anything it would be the fact that it isn't mine. Again well done.

It's a major project, Andrei, as you can see! The M5 is one of those vehicles that were important in the war but are still not available as models.

Well done, Roy. That's a nice model. Show us more?
