This looks to be a good kit. I am kind of sad thought that they have this update set. It is like a direct copy of CH.....
(OK if the update set is not expensive, then maybe it is worth getting but still...put them all in ONE BOX.)

The problem with Trumpeter is, that they seem to use thir molds for a very long time. It can be seen on the KV series, the sooner you get it the better. The later you get it the more flash and bigger pin marks it will have.

My Sturer Emil had very little quality problems....

I don't think I will bother with the update set as Aber will probably release a set for it.

I would wait for Terry to do a comparison before deciding which kit to get. In Trumpeter's corner, their Dicker Max is based off On Track Model's resin kit and in DML's corner, they have the assistance of Thomas Anderson.

DML will probably be easier to build and molded better but for me accuracy is an important consideration. So let's wait and see.

the force is strong ... too strong for weak people like me ... i just called up my LHS and reserved one of the trumpeter 'dicker max' with the upgrade set ... and prewarned the shop owner that upon release/delivery of the DML max i want one of those too ...

as soon as he will receive his delivery i will be noticed and 20 mins after that i will have it in my hands ...

on the dark side the force is so much stronger .oO(and i know who will rip off my head this evening )

You guys are lucky with Trumpeter releases Trumpeter doesn't distribute to HK until the rest of the world get it. It's to do with getting a better price selling outside China & HK
