E-10 (Trumpeter)

I always start with the same intentions and always end up not following them.
A fast build, that's what I wanted but as soon as I started to enjoy the freedom of doing a tank that never existed, I started to put more work into it.
You probably know the rest of the story.

The exhaust was bugging me... And I started to find for a replacement. I wanted a Pz 38 kind of exhaust. My daughter was having some juice and had a green straw. And I took it (after she finished of course LOL). The end tube is a piece of sprue drilled. If the diameter is too big I just replace it with another piece of smaller sprue eh eh.

The tracks are from Friul (obviously), the IR system is from Blast Models and the barrel from RB models. Some other details are a blatant ripoff from Jan Peters build. The cable is a piece of spare string I had from a AFV Club Stuart and the attachments made with some plastic card and wing nuts from the spares box.

A couple of numbers from Archer surface details on the mantlet and that's about it.
Hope you like it.

Pretty spiffy, Antonio.

I was wondering when this would make it's debut!

In other news....still quiet on the western front.

Even though Iīm not the biggest fan of the E-10, I canīt wait to see your progress on this one!
The exhaust really would benefit from a thinner tube in my eyes.
Do you already have a paint-scheme in mind?

Thx Markus.
I have to agree with you. That thing now seems a bit like a tunned car exhaust LOL. I'm going to change it today.
Regarding the paint scheme I'm divided between two options (maybe more will appear)
The ambush scheme (green, yellow, brown wit dots) or
Dunkel Gelb white washed... This could be a vehicle on the Siberian front at the end of 1946 (eh eh I love the fact that I can create an alternative reality eh eh)

Yes, you can do pretty much everything with those Paperpanzers .
What I would love to see one day would be one of these buggers in Olive Drab as an american tank or in the Mickey Mouse scheme as a brit .
For yours, I think the white washed variant would look great!

Ready for the base coat. I'm still not sure what to do but I'll come up with something

Hey Antonio,

Another great looking build. Something creative for the scheme? How about large format Waffen SS Oak Leaf pattern...!!!

Personally, I love the low, flat straight lines of this vehicle.

Nice clean build Antonio!

@Rick

A Oak leaf pattern would be amazing but I'm not sure if I'm the man for the job. I'm more and more inclined for a dunkelgelb paint job and a whitewash (I never saw a E10 with one).

@Stuke
The lines are amazing (that's what I loved in it when I first saw a build of the Accurate Armor model. It has some kind of racing look )

But, where am I gonna put a balkenkreuz? I'm not going to the side skirts so there's no space for that symbol (and apparently for reg numbers).

Well, errrr... the only place where you can put a balkankreuz, is the top of the vehicle... reg number on the back... niether of them on the sides....
