Good point James. I also believe the same in regards to Cavalier and ATAK zimmerit sheets. I admit I have used ATAK before (on my JP) but I found the pattern whilst very nice to be too even. I wanted to see how well it applies as well. I did find in my case the ATAK sheet was too small (maybe resin shrinkage?).

Maybe people like ATAK/Cavalier because of the ease of use and also the flexibilty in tearing away areas where they want to depict chipped zimmerit.

I personally prefer to either do my own or use Atak/Cavelier. I like a bit more of a challenge. But maybe this will be so good it will change my mind?
Actually I have the same thoughts as you. And now with the LionRoar Zimmerit tools, it makes making your own zimmerit so much easier. But I will be really interested to see how the molded zimmerit looks

Talking Got mine

I have to second Schweinhund's sentiments. I just got two of these delivered and the kit looks really sweet. I hope DML continues to issue more vehicles with the zim.

So does this mean that all the after-market groups will be coming out with new PE sets. I can see it now 'Eduard new Anti Zimmerit - Zimmerit PE for your new Dragon Zimmerit'. When you et the box inside will be a pack of sanding sticks. This is going to get mightily confusing. I agree with someone who posted earlier, we are going to see many very similar Tigers in near future.

That looks really nice. If they do it as well as they did the production KT then I'll have to pick up a couple. I'll say it again.....I hope they keep coming out with these. I don't see how it can be bad that we are getting more options. I must have enough kits without zim in my stash to keep me building darn near forever.

Well, if they have done one of these then they are way overdue to put zimm on the late model Tiger1. Always wondered why they do this stuff to vehicles that had options on zimm, while the late steel wheeled Tiger 1 only had Zimm. Why not that one first?

Good concept though as long as it is done well and does not impede the construction to much.
