what's wrong with tracks?
it looks like you didn't glue suspension so tracks are pulling wheels at front and back...
just glue suspention so it looks like sitting tiger, glue tracks on every wheel you can and lower rear wheel like this

and if you add some of that mud from tracks on lower front hull couse soldiers walk on it, it would look just perfect =)
this is how i made my panther (sorry about cell phone pics..)
(dml with zimm and rubber tracks)

i can't paint wheel ds tracks.. I preferred when it's magic track..
on the diorama some earth will be under the back wheel, it's why the wheel are like that..

oh i see... sounds ok then =)
what do you mean you can't paint rubber tracks?
i painted my tracks with brown can spray for airsoft guns and then painted mud with revell color... had no problems... nice thinned almost wash color... and then a bit of metal color dry brushing on top of tracks =)
so yea... kitty looks amazing... when you finish those tracks and diorama it will be just perfect =)
but i must say that i like your zimm... just be careful with dry brushing so it doesn't pup out too much =)

That's a simply amazing paint job. It has a dazzle effect when I look at it, and I almost believe it's real metal.

The idler on the Tiger didn't sit on the ground like it is in the above pic. That one obviously was damaged somehow.

i don't know... i've seen many pictures of idler that low... and some of them ware not abandoned or destroyed... but then again i'm not panzer specialist =)

this tiger is damaged/abandoned too and i'm sure gibbs would have done idler similar to that if flat diorama was planed...
but with suspension the way it is i can't wait to see diorama =))
