Oh yeah.......I likes the late stuff. Is it a two tone camo? on your first?

and that one in the the hedges is sweet, but this one with the roof armour well, that's a hottie!

Welcome to the Collective #758, resistance is futile!

Larry,
The cammo looks to be two tone, most probably green and yellow? The lighting has flushed the contrast out so there could be a third color and we just can't tell!
If it was only 2 I would probably go with Green[RAL 603] and dark yellow, as these Panthers were supposed to be base coated in green after the order 20 Dec 1944.

Panzerwrecks has the whole first section [11 pages] dedicated to these kind of mod'd Panthers -1./Pz.Rgt.26 Italy April 1945.

Hey Ian,

You know, I see a light spot on the turret slightly rear of middle and just below the top edge. Very cool.

Here's some more angles on the MAN Panther G........of course, they're from eBay!

Hilly, this Panther is probably a three colour job. Its just that the brown and green blend in together. (note the number "41" on the glacis).

Willy.

Jim (i.e. #758),

This is a bit off-topic, but could you post some of the great pictures of your ML Expo winning AAV7A1 dio here. I'm pretty sure that there are a number of folks on this site who don't visit ML and would be very impressed with that beauty (especially the shots before painting showing all of the scratch-building you did). Good to see you here, BTW.

Take care,
Adam

Ok, I've been looking for another pic on this one. I know I've seenone posssibly in one of the Concord titles but can't remember which. I believe it's in Italy, possibly Anzio?

Can anyone shed some light on this one?

Yeah Larry, it's in Italy, I've seen this pic and I think at least one more of this Panther somewhere. This will bug me till I can find the pic now . The tank in the background is an abandoned Elefant.

Mike

Mike,

Hi, yeah I know there's another shot somewhere, I just can't find it. If you do PLEASE let me know, as I really want to do this one. I think I saw it in a Concord title.
Thanks.
Larry

Larry,

I will look through my Concord books when I get home tonight. I don't have a lot but I do have the Panther one from Concord.
