I find thins one:

This is pre-order... This model was released or will be ?

I will be very grateful for any help.

Best, Przemek !

Pak 44

Hello,

Info on these guys is limited--they were late war designs, and there seems to be conflictling info as to whether of not they were actually fielded against allied armor. There were 2 different designs--one by Krupp (4 wheeled) and one by Rheinmetall (6 wheeled). Both have been done by Cromwell models in 1/35 (resin)--I have both, and they are excellent kits..
As for info, I have the Pak at War book by Trojca, and it has as many good photos of the pak 44's as you will find anywhere. There's even 2 photos showing the gun being mounted on a russian limber, and one on a french mount. Technical info is scarce, it seems most of the info you get is ballistic data--not much at all about where it was fielded, paint schemes, etc....I myself have scoured books / internet, and there just isn't that much info on these guns (which are among my favorites)...

Good luck in your search!!
Chris

Pak 44 availability

Przemo,

I got mine from the Mission Models website (about 4 years ago). Both kits were available for a while, but I am honestly not sure if they currently are. If (and I'm assuming they will be) they are reissued, get them--they are great kits, and the Krupp and Rheinmetall versions are different enough that if you can, buy 'em both--they look great together, and are much bigger then the pak 43's (88mm).
The Waldemar Trojca book Pak at War is on ebay fairly often, and for a good price ($50-60 US). It is a GREAT reference for all pak guns---I had virtually no idea about the pak 44's until I saw the pictures of them in this book--and once I did, I had to have them both. If they aren't available at mission models, try contacting Gordon at the Cromwell Models website--he could give you the best info as to the availabilty of both kits...

Powodzenia!
Chris
