A U.S. Army Road Grader 1/35th

Here goes my first blog on Planet Armor. I've been scratchbuilding a motor, (Or road), grader. It is for my latest diorama called "Logistics". It is another of my big ones and in one area of the urban diorama, engineers will be removing massive amounts of rubble to clear the streets. I had built a 135th Construction Bn. Bulldozer and a deuce and a half dump truck and needed a road grader to complete the equipment. As far as I can tell, no company has ever kitted a 1/35th scale grader, so I had no choice but to scratch one.

Below are pics of the build in progress. It has now been base coated and set aside for the paint to harden while I work on other things. I started with the frame.. This is a shot beside the bulldozer early in the build.

Excellent!

Excellent! Bob and looking great.

Wow! just got that tutorial on how to split the photos and text up.

Thank you Gordy for that and feel like I leaped way ahead with that little helper.

Going to study that one and definitely play with here on planetarmor and planetfigure.
