One of you guys posted this one in Ian's Stug build, it seems the second shot is of the same vehicle-

Hi Evan,

Yep you're correct, same vehicle. There's a couple more from this roll of film and these shots are often seen on various eBay sites sold as originals from Russian Archives. They've been selling as 'originals' and therefore you'd think unique, for well over five years now

Nice Old Hick find as well, they've got some good stuff on there.

StuG IV's OK??

Andrew

Hi all!

One more. Stug Brig 303s Stug III ausf.F at Lappeenranta summer 44. Concrete armour on upper hull and some kind of beam on front as shot deflector.

Cheers Mikko

Sweet pics guys! Andrew, do you know the story behind that IV? Is it in somebody's backyard or what? I'm sure the neighbors loved that.

That StuG from Old Hickory is irritating me, it seems the hatch on the front is opened twoards the front? I thought these hatches always opened left/right, is this a specific feature to a certain factory, like MIAG vs Alkett? Or am I just seeing it wrong?
