Hi Benjamin,

If the exhaust muffler is not used, there should be some mounts left one the mudguards as the vehicle was built with the mufflers.

Regards,

with the turret finished

So, i've just finished the puma's turret, just have to put some putty and wait for the tool handlers to finish this model :

So, here the tweaks list for this part

20/ The hooks on the turret have an incorrect form, i've take mine in a Pz III box

21/ Two smalls metal plates were on the side of the turret, but i don't know their use

22 / As the Italeri gun is far too thin, i've replace it with another one. So i buy an armorscale gun and put them in My Dragon Puma's Box... and the plastic from the box go on the Italeri.
The MG don't come from the Dragon's but from my spare parts's box

23/ A thin hole for the puma's commander is missing on the turret, next to the gun

24/ The periscope's protection are too high and thick, so they are retouched to have the correct thickness and size

I also replace the commander periscope with one coming from my spare parts. The other one will only be paint to have a better look

The hatch lockers is done using the italeri's one (molder on the hatch) cut, put a small round piece of plastic done with a punch&die and add another piece of plastic to reproduce the locker mechanism.
The hatch hinge was done using aluminium card

25/ The antenna base was detailled using a small round piece of plastic and replacing the antenna with fiberoptic

26/ The smoke launcher Italeri were unused and replaced with the one coming from a Tasca set ... far better looking.
The smoke launcher's basis were done using piece of aluminum, as on the real puma

Don't forget the electric wire to fire the launchers and it's done

After a VERY long absence, coming back on this subject

27/ Using aluminum sheet, Griffon Models photoetched and plasticard, i made my own tools holdings and extinguisher holding

28/ I use the dragon plastic... huh, rods ?? , as dragon give it also in brass

29/ using stretched sprue and optic fiber, and with patience and precision i made a commanding antenna (not glued yet of course)

30/ I use different resin sets found on the web and in exhibition to have different pattern on the wheels

31/ Photoetched piece coming from a unused 232 set were use to made the lock on the rear chests

Also done the jerrycan straps (not on the pictures) - using aluminum sheet and electric wire

i put stowage (from my own ugly molding) for the picture

I'm not sure yet to use the munition box i've put on the rear deck (will be on the left fender, next to the extinguisher)

G'day Striker, you sure are doing some hard yards on this project .
BTW are the wheels fix in their turning angles yet?
Thanks for posting your work and I do like the work you have done with the aluminium clamps and brackets .
