Aidan,

I would go with the 3 part tranny cover as I believe the early shermans had these.

Can you post some pics of the wading trunks and the rear deck? Maybe this way we could help you install them?

For the intake screens (parts F3. 4) just install them per the photo as it's correct.

Another Wading Sherman

hey guys sorry i havent posted in a while but i have been doing ROTC and sleeping(lol) but also there is a contest coming up in september for me and i want to get a model that won first in another event ready (after beeing stepped on by my dog)

















i weathered it re-painted it also redid the stoage (thanks james for that strap hint) also i took off the front left front fender added mud and drilled out the .50

so enjoy

looks like m4 sherman not a1 or a2

m4 sherman at the time of normandy all had three piece trany armor m4a1 used the one piece cast tranny armor us forces used the m4 and m4 a1 exclusivly some a2s served with marines in pacific most went to russia some to england and canada on d day mostly m4 a4 to canada and England .m4 and m4a1 both used the raidial 7 cylinder air cooled aircraft engine
