Hi Adam,

Thougth about getting into it, but the figs are way too expensive. Plus I dont have the time, (nor the opponets) to enjoy something like that anymore.

Thts too bad, it's a great game. If you like armor and I think most of us here do, this is the game to play.

Yes it is, I have the rulebook and I find it very interesting. Most of the rules it uses are similar to GW's Epic which I currently play. They are similar, but Epic been a smaller scale (6mm) focuses on company and battalion level units and is more focused on maneuvers.

I still think the FOW figs are awesome.

It's a great system but it can tend to be a little too smash and thump for me. Other alternatives would be Fire & Fury's Battlefield WWII or Command Decision. I used to be into Axis & Allies Miniatures big time, but the system is very simplified. Currently, I am converting those miniatures....specifically the infantry to stands...to Battlefield WWII.
