Nope, we have a bunch of Alketts to, but as we were talking about MIAGs I only mentioned them. I have them all listed on my homepage (open for the public since 1997... ).

The StuGs (Ausf. G) were assembled in three different factories, MIAG, M.A.N. and Alkett. The vehicles are basically identical, but there are some technical differences depending on the manufacturer and on the date the vehicle was manufactured.

I have some info about these things on my homepage, but there is much, much more to find in the printed media. You know, good oldfashion books...

Replacement based on what remained of the original :

edited to add : I received the information the Fgst Nr is 95825 so MIAG without any doubt.

.................damages done during the transport ship sinking.....................
Kuba wrote that this StuG. was recovered from the water and, if I read him right, was being re-deployed at the time of the vessel sinking? Was the "Saukopf mantlet" fitted by the factory or by the field workshop/ maintanence crew?

Life's so very funny, you just need to remember to laugh [note to the clowns].

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

That's the main point.
Having admitted it was a MIAG stug, we can debate about that as these are not "supposed to" have Saukopfblende" on.
Sorry no answer to this question yet.
From what I've been told, the owner takes it it came like this out of the water and not part has been mixed up with the other StuGs that were inside the ship.
I mean he saw the StuG all covered with marine growth so that was at a pretty early stage wasn't it ?
It seems unlikely that they swapped gun mantlets so early in the recovery process but I'm sorry not much more I can say now.

There's an interesting debate going on on ML for who's interested:

For now I'm not convinced this is the original configuration.
