Hello Grim, how are u doing mate?

Thanks! I used 12 psi pressure in order to do this camouflage. If I can give u a tip the paint thinning is also important. Start with a well thinned mixture and draw the lines of the camouflage. Afterwards you make the commom paint mixture to fill the camouflage patches.

Also, I prefer to use enamel paint to perform camouflage - it gives you more control to draw the patches.

Best,
Cadu Souza

I'm GLAD I read this - I think I've been using way too much pressure (20-25 psi) and too little thinner - my camo jobs have way too much spatter. Yours is very clean and controlled. . .

Thanks for the tips mate ! I'll try this on my next model, even if I prefer acrylic paints
Anyway, your Tiger is coming along well ! Good job

Some news! 1- Fading with oils; 2- Decals applied; 3-General wash; 4-Pin point wash and tools painted.

I'm really not sure about the color of the metal on the tools. I could use some advice here.

I hope u like it...

Beautiful job!

What did you use to paint the tools? They look pretty good. You could probably just finish them off at this point with a little soft penciling to give a touch of a metallic sheen.

Panzerjaeger,

Thanks mate. The tools were paint with Vallejo's Black Grey - Model Color. Afterwards I made a wash with Tamiya's Panzer grey - since the first shade was too dark. I will use your advice and apply some penciling to perform a metallic sheen on some parts of the tools.

Looks great Cadu! That's an interesting camouflage scheme and you've painted it very well.

What is the history of this "raging bull" Tiger? Can you tell me more about it, or maybe provide a link to something?

I looked at your page, but sadly, I can't read Portuguese!
