Nice looking recovery tank! I like the chain set-up. I bet that took some patience!

very nice work.

Peter,

Very nice conversion job with the BergepanzerIII.
Also some nice cool graphics accompanying the in-progress photos.
Please keep us posted with your 'sweet' build.

O.k. looking good. I however would love to know what kits you are using. I'm guessing the base is Dragon but what about the conversion? I really like your work on the jib (crane).

Dragons old Panzer III/H is used as base kit, fenders are from Lion Roar and the tracks are Friuls. The conversion was made with a lot Evergreen bits and some leftover PE´s.
It´s all based on a side drawing by Hillary Doyle:

Quelle: Spielberger - Sturmgeschütze (ISBN 3-613-01356-8)
The jib took the most time, especially the chain. I´ve stopped counting the parts.

So it's scratch!!! That makes it all the better. Awesome job. One note though, your tracks are backwards. This is not totally unheard of though as this was often done so what I actually should say is that your tracks are not in the more usual configuration. Again great job. Can't wait to see it finished.

Yes, please continue to post updates on your build.
The side view profile drawing is excellent reference.
