A scratch-built/conversion of a welder as I used to operate it in the oil field. The cab is a snap together and from the rear of the cab back, (except the axles and wheels) all are scratch-built.
-The bed is diamond plate surface that angles to a wider width to accommodate the duel wheel width.
-The rear bumper has a hitch plate.
-The "head-ache" rack has mesh installed.
-The welding machine is a Miller Big 40
, it will include lift ring, exhaust pipe, radiator cap on the mesh end, and so forth.
-Torch, hoses, welding leads have been added.
-At the end of the bed, the angle iron serves as a ready jig to line-up and weld two pieces of pipe together at the ends.
-The rectangles are built in tools boxes which will have pull latches just like the original.
-Painted the wire to simulate the ox and acetylene hoses.
-Built the ox and acetylene gauges w/lenses.
-Custom made decals added to the welding machine.
-Inset rear working lights and tail light cut outs w/grill added.
-The floor mats were made from tape.
-The dash numerals and indicators were hand painted. I also added a clear piece to simulate the cover.
-The stick shift was scratch-built.
-The dash board area was detailed as were the arm rest/door handle areas
-Inspection stickers (windshield).
