[FINISHED] Dicker Max 1/35 Dragon

Hi fellas,

finally ! 3 months after buying it I've had time enough to finish the painting of my Dicker Max ! The only regret I have is that I learnt techniques in the meanwhile that I did have time to try... It will be for the next one !

I'll make a single remark about that model : the upper hull is really hard to adjust, you can see a gap between the upper and the lower parts...

Oh yeah btw, I'm f***** exhausted, I did not pay attention to the tracks' direction and there's a link missing to the right track... I wish I could buy Friul tracks for every model !
Crits welcome !

I agree with Kuklinski: very nice mud. But is there an issue with the direction of the tracks?

Best regards

J

Yeah I'm gonna edit my message. I'm fu**** exhausted at the moment, so much work to do, so I did pay attention to the tracks direction...

Glad you like the mud, it's the first time I'm satisfied with my mud ^^

Thumbs up

Nice build and I like it!

Can you share with us your technique on the mud effect?

After looking closely it looks like one of your tracks have separated by the right idler, but still... a very well done tank!

Hi, yeah there's a issue with the track

For the mud, well it's pretty simple. The dry mud is made of Mig pigments (Europe dust, Brick dust and a bit of Africa dust) fixed with White Spirit.

As I didn't have Mig acrylic resin, I decided to try using Citadel's (Games Workshop) acrylic water effects. I mixed the pigments (the 3 above and a bit of tracks pigments) with it and AK's earth and mud effects (for the color) and I added a bit of grass to it.

To finish the effects, I applied some oil washes here and there, along with grease marks.

Hello guys, I tried to make better streaks on the panels. I don't know if it's a success or a shame because the light here is totally shitty, there are only clouds and my goddam neighbours parked their vans before my window so I don't see a thing ! Anyway, this tanks didn't inspire me at all...

There's an "Elephant" incoming, I bet it'll be better !
