The Dreadnought

Hello Everyone!

After seen how big a fan you guys are of Sci-fi models also (Especially mean looking things with lots of armor and blazing guns) I’ve decided to share a little of my past work as a Sci-fi modeler. Here is the original model; well it was not even supposed to be a model but a playing piece made for an obscure Milton-Bradley board game called “Space Crusade”. Its scale would probably be around 1:48.

Here is the complete model. I modified it heavily using parts from other models and scratch building the twin cannons. The base is also made from scratch. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Dave

Don't say past, work.. keep the Sci Fi coming.
That is fine work and as it is armoured.. sort of fits the site anyways

Space Crusade, If I recall correctly, was a follow on from Space Hulk, which eventually become Warhammer 40K after being swallowed by the Games Workshop conglomerate.

I spit my modelling between AFV and Sci Fi subjects and each compliment the other.

Go for it I say

I don't like this genre, but it's very well done! The groundwork is very nice!

Just needs a couple of crosses on it and maybe an MG34 on top and sorted

Nice work, not my cup of tea to make, but I can appreciate good work even so.
