no-man, thanks - maybe the changed background color is better for the olive drab tank...

Don, I used Lion Roar's stencil set for the numbers and "USA" text on the sides of the Stuart:
The prepared text (close to the original C42 tank found on the web) before applying to the sides:
And finally the results. Not as sharp edged and crisp as I hoped but works quite well before the weathering anyway. On the left side of the tank I made a mistake: didn't see a hole on the masking and painted the back of the stowage bin blue. Need to be corrected next time.
The yellow triangle - red square was painted by hand. The turret numbers are dry transfers from Mig Productions. Caused me a light heart attack as after applying one side, the other side's numbers didn't want to leave the stencil... and no other 41 in this size on this stencil set... but finally I solved the problem (and the uneven surface of the number) with a dry, soft brush and some gentle moves.
And this is how the Stuart looks now.
