New pic (A little dark, got a new camera and not quite happy yet), The hull is 85% done, just missing oil stains, mud/pigments on the running gear and tracks.

Just got my complete set of weathering products from True Earth and they are AMAZING.
The Exhaust was painted and weathered with vallejo and true earth efx.

Will post new pics soon,
Thanks
Julian

You got some really nice effects going there although I'm not a fan of chipping per say but your model looks really good!

Why is the commander's cap green? Or am I seeing things?

I think the stowage is terrific!

Paul,

Thanks for your oppinion !

The cap is painted with Polly Scale German Uniform Green, based on reference pictures used of the "Army Panzer Uniforms in Colour Photographs" - Wade Krawczyk , as picture follows.

The quote on this particular cap on the books says :

"Panzer Officer's Service Cap - (Schirmmutze) ;
Although not strictly an item of panzer vehicle uniform, it was integral part of the Officer's range of uniforms. It was often worn with the vehicle uniform instead of the panzer beret in early war scenes, and during the war in preference to the soft headress"

Based on that info I painted it with german green to give some contrast with the black uniform, and it looks very nice.

Thanks
Regards
Julian

Some finished Pictures, but they are too hot in temperature , so they somewhat change the appearence of the model. This was taken with iPhone.

But it gives an idea, I will get some better daylight pics soon, with a nice camera.

Critics are welcome.

This is a Panzer 38t Dragon with Voyager PE and barrels, Friulmodelismo Tracks, Royal model stowage and Resin Figure from Alpine.

It was painted with Vallejo Air, AK-Interactive Acrylics, Tamiya Acrylics and Enamels.

The Figure was painted with Polly Scale Acrylics, Liquitex Washes and Tamiya enamels. Face was painted with Rembrandt Oils.

Weathering was used AK-Interactive, Mig, True Earth, Liquitex, Vallejo Washes and Burnishing Fluid for tracks.

As told before, this was a test subject for artistic weathering.

Regards
Julian

Thank you for the photos of the finished build. I celebrate along with you with this and those are some good photos with the iPhone.

Take care.
