Nice build!
I like its peculiar shape! Looks like a fat KV-1!

As I understand the tracks on the panzer IF where used on the Sturer Emil also. I recon the panzer IF must have been very maneuverable with these almost overdimensioned tracks.

Well, I was thinking about the "dotheboltwithapieceofstyrenerod" method but may be you are right.

It appears so...

That's why I buy them! every company have about 20 Panzer IV's, 10 Panthers and every imaginable Tiger ever built in their line up but how many have a Panzer IF, a Panzer IIJ or a Bison?

Well folks, it is time for another update.

Continuing with the details I proceed to replace the handles above the side hatches with floral wire.

Took the horn from the tamiya Pz IV set and added it to the front.

Using plastic strips I made the jack block holder and the iron strips for the wood block. I also used a Bronco Models German Wingnut to close the block holder. (Thanks Dave)

Then glued the box for the smoke launchers to the tanks rear. (At least I thatís what I think it is.)

Next was the turn of the spare track holder. As you can see in the photo two of the supports need to be move farther to the right.

Here you can see the spare track holder fixed and the links in position. Also the convoy light and the brake light were mounted at this time. The holes in the fenders were opened also.

Next I'm planning to work on the turret
See you soon.
Ruben
