Great to know that!
I want one and it's a pleasure to know that paint sticks well on them!

From what I've seen of this one, it looks like the kit itself will be an improvement on the original. Execpt for the tracks and lack of the metal parts, but there's always AM for those who want it.

Well I would rather have some more PE than fx. the working recoil of the barrel, I can't see how this is an improvement.

As far as I see it, the metal parts and pe in dragon's kits were substandard anyway. How many complaints about their pe have I seen? And the barrels, well, they weren't too bad, but weren't any better detailed than the plastic barrels, so, where is the loss? The price you are paying is for the improved molding and detail there. AM manufacturers will not be going out of business.

My one true regret is the axing of the magic tracks.

I just hope that we can see a reduction in price given that we get less extra stuff in the box. But I doubt it though.

Well....the tracks were not that magical, they had some issues when fitting together. But indeed they were much better than the Tamiya single links.

So, keep the magic tracks and make them even better.

I will introduce one more idea, why not release a Tiger I mid or early, they are much cooler in my mind. Oh oh and one more idea, why not make it a true 3-in-1 kit by making a Tiger I early/mid/late!?!

Yeah, I'd be cool if they did the thin that AFV club did with the 251s.

The magic tracks don't have the holein the guide horns. So it makes no difference to me since I will replace them with AM tracks.

I would really like a Mid Tiger I.

By improvement, I mean that some issues have been worked out and other things redesigned, such as the escape hatch, hull bottom, and blow torch for heating the engine. Check the 'inside story' on their website.

The recoiling barrel seems pretty silly to me too...

I think the main reason that people are pissed is that the rubber band tracks seem to be going back a step. I mean, DML was breaking new modeling barriers and such and when they made it a matter of routine to include indy tracks, people took it as a step up in the world. Now that they have gone away from PE and turrned barrels and now the indy track, it is like they are regressing back to the 70s. As many have said on here and ML, they would replace the track anyway seeing as it is inaccurate, me included. Notwithstanding, I'd rather have indys over rubberband track.
