Trumpeter JGSDF Type 96 WAPC

Hello,

Here is my start of this 8 wheeled vehicle.
Suspension is complete and went together well.
This is my first ever Trumpeter kit, and I must admit, so far so good.
All parts fit just fine, and clear instuctions.

Next up is the read plate

Rear end

Hi,

Todays work was all about the rear plate and crew exit hatch.
Again good fit and clear instructions.

More tomorrow.

Commanders cupola and 40mm grenade launcher

Hi,

Last night I assembled the commanders cupola (very easy) and then the grenade launcher.
Part fit for the grenade launcher is very poor, a major letdown, compared with what I already have assembled before.

Grab handles tie downs and hatch levers

Hello,

Todays work was all about adding the many small grab handles and tie downs to the upper hull.

This is where I am now.

Looking good. I am a fan of these type of vehicles and really like the look. Are you going to do anything about the large grills on the front, top and side? The casting looks good but there really is no depth. Just curious. Good job.
