Mighty's Panther G

I built this up as something quick and easy while working on the Leo, Tamiya's Panther G with eduard PE special box set. It was a nice kit, with no major hassles. A panther expert can probably tell us what's wrong in terms accuracy etc, but this is my first panther and it was fun to build
Thanks for looking, Rodders

Agreed, I don't like PE zimm that much, but this is sure a fine looking Panther! Can't wait to see it in paint!

This was my first shot at PE zim and I'm not a fan either, but I picked the kit up for half price at a closing down sale, so I won't complain.

Can't tell for sure, but it looks like you may have some gaps between the zimm sheets on the glacis and the sides. Might want to clean those up before painting. But nice build!

Yeah there are, or were, gaps there, as there were on the piece for the hull MG, but the tamiya instructions are nice enough to inform one of this and give instruction in the art of puttying This is one of the reasons I really dont like PE zim, the edges and corners dont look natural, they look like sheets of PE.....

The overall look is good, well done. Now get some paint on it!
