Can't read it - but that thing looks almost intact! Winter camo still on it - winter tracks, looks like most of the OVE is still there. Incredible find.

Just curious, but does anyone know how many of these things are found these days. Must be fun work considering they may still have live ammo in them.

What a find. Hopefully it will be preserved and kept in a good home, and not left outside to rust somewhere.

Wow,

That's unreal. It's so well preserved, even the rubber.

very cool.

This very early StuG III Ausf. G was found a few years ago. It was sold to a swiss company, but there was one major factor left out in the deal: The Russian Mob.
They were not paid, so the deal did not go through.
Said but true.

Even more sad is the state of the vehicle from then on. Left outside, no means of protection.
This is a true shame, for all parties involved, but especially for the maffia.

But I always thought the mob provided "protection".....? I'm sure the Russian mob is crying into their Vodka Spritzers about cash they're losing on the Stug.......what with the little money they earn by suppling Heroin and Brides to the West that is.

....oh and, weapons to the Chechens.....fight the power.

Willy.

the date is Feb. 13th 2006 it has movie clips of the restored tank with a date of 2005 - must be recent. ? pretty cool.
