Ok so while I wait for the 234 to arrive I had to start something. So here is my latest, Churchill AVRE the basis is the tamiya kit with Legends conversion set. The model will have Fuilly tracks and I also have an eduard set. I have decided to remove the track guards entirely just to show off the excellent white metal tracks. This meant a bit of scratching....
Most of it is held together by bluetac at present.....so excuse the gaps and poor alignment.....

Looking fantastic Mic!!

great work, and you really nailed the photos. I think you have some dust bunnies on your CCD tho, the same blemish appears on the same place in each image.

Looking forward to seeing more progress. Can you post shots of the vehicle youre depicting?

Sam

PS are our 234/4's here yet?

Oh Ok, I know about the bunnies, I am not sure if they are the ccd or the lens....will have to look at it. I am not suprised after nearly 6000 pictures....
Ok this is something like I want to do, although it may end up an amalgum of several vehicles. 79th Armoured Div of course.....maybe in holland...

I am not even sure where I picked this up from. I have had it lying around on my hard drive for a while now....sorry it is so small, but it prints nicely....

Hi Mic, great work on the Churchill, it's builds like these that inspire me to do one too :-)

About the dust bunny, if you have an Olympus camera, you can do something called "Pixel alignment" or something like that, maybe that will help a bit...

Cheers,
Kristoffer

Hi Mic,

Very nice looking scratch work. Also, I like your technical layout terms.
Looking forward to more.
