Once again, nice work Dave and Bill.

Kind of off topic here, but will you new AAV set be all inclusive? As in the interior, running gear and EAAK? Also, you mention on here or in an email a while back that you were considering "dirtying up" the interior with additional gear, is this still the plan? I am starting to gather resources for my next project, an AAV for my old unit, the now infamous 3/25 Lima Co in Columbus Ohio, I was there '93 to '99. I am looking to have it finished by 10 November for our Birthday celebration (Once a Marine, Always a Marine).

I appreciate the sample you sent of the 4 OIF Marines for allowing me to help with your research on them. They look great! If you still need some additional reference shots of the AAV, let me know. I had difficulty sending any emails to Bill's address, and over time, with our new baby on the way, things got side tracked, my hobby being one of them.

Again, nice work with the current figs.

Sincerely,
Ryan Thornton

Hello Ryan,

You are most welcome for the figures, I am glad you got them. Since I did not hear back, I assumed you received them. Congrats on the baby!! (better you than me!).

Our AAVP7 kits will be, an interior and the EAAK armor set. We do not plan on doing the suspension and tracks conversion though. Many of the Amtracs used in OIF were and are in fact the Tamiya kit style, with the EAAK armor added.

I may scratch build a new lower hull with the new suspension on it for my own model, I will of course mold it up so I can build a few. When I do, I will send you a copy if you wish.

As for Bill's email address, he does not have one, he and I both use dharper@centurytel.net, or you can reach him through the hardcorpsmodels.com site. We are always on the look out for AAVP7 photos and would gladly accept any that you have.

Semper Fi,

David Harper
